Since 2004, Neuromixer has been releasing AVmixer line of video mixing software for live concerts, shows and events around the world. Founded and designed by experience VJ and media artist Fader, he brings his professional experience into a user friendly yet powerful desktop application. AVmixer is built using Cycling '74's Max/Msp/Jitter, a patch based programming environment .

The philosophy behind AVmixer is based on the simplicity of turntablism. With a vinyl turntable, a DJ is able to directly access the music and manipulate the song through live performance. Building on this concept, AVmixer allows the user to manipulate the video, composite and apply real-time effects during a show. You can think of it as live video editing performance. VJing combines video art, music video and performance into a single form.
